Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
with Fr. Michael Reding
November 3-14, 2024
As you may know, I have led groups on pilgrimage to the Holy Land many times. Each time, I enjoy watching participants’ understanding of their faith expand as we visit the sites where Jesus was born, lived, died, and rose.
As in the past, we will visit Nazareth, Cana, the Jordan River, Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, the Church of the Primacy of Peter, the Church of the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor, and we will enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. In addition, on this trip, we will visit Caesarea Philippi and Tel Dan.
We then journey south to the Dead Sea, Qumran, Bethany, Ein Karem, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, where we will visit the Old City, the Western Wall, the Pool of Bethesda, the Upper Room, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane (where we will have an hour of quiet night-time prayer), and the place where Jesus was held near the house of Caiaphas. We will walk and pray the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified, died, and rose from the dead.
We will celebrate Mass each day; and at each site, we will listen to the Gospel story of what happened there and share a song. We will have an outstanding local guide and stay in the best hotels.
Registration is Full: Join the Waitlist
Our registration has now reached its limit, and we do not have any openings at this time. However, since the pilgrimage is still eighteen months away, it is possible that some who have registered may need to withdraw.
So, if you would like to join us on that pilgrimage in 2024, I invite you to join the waitlist. If/when an opening occurs, we will reach out to the person at the top of the waitlist to see if they would now like to register.
If you would like information or would like to join the waitlist, please visit the pilgrimage web page here. If you have any questions, contact me at [email protected] or Magi Travel at [email protected]
