Our onsite Masses will be celebrated in the church. Attendance is strictly limited to 100 people per Mass, so advance registration is necessary. Those who have not signed-up in advance will not be admitted to our onsite Christmas Masses. This is essential so we can gather safely.

Onsite Mass Times:

Christmas Eve at 3:00, 5:00 and 10:00 p.m.

Christmas Day at 11:00 a.m.

Christmas Masses will be celebrated in a manner similar to our Sunday onsite Masses. Doors will not open until 15 minutes before Mass. Because you will have registered in advance, there is no reason to arrive early; you will have a seat. Those who have not registered in advance will not be admitted. As on Sundays, we ask that you enter through the doors from the parking lot on the east side of the building and exit through the south doors facing 44th Street. All people attending must wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer provided. Follow the directions of our ushers as you are seated. There will be no congregational singing at our onsite Masses. When Mass has concluded, we ask that you receive communion and depart. Do not linger as we will be sanitizing the church for the next liturgy.

Advance registration is required for Mass onsite.

As we’ve all learned over these last nine months, it’s possible that circumstances could change between now and December 24, prompting us to change these arrangements. If that should happen, we will be sure to notify you.

Receive Communion Onsite

For those who celebrate Christmas Mass online, if you would like, you may come to receive communion at St. Thomas the Apostle on Christmas Day between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. As on Sundays, communion will be distributed outdoors under the portico on the east side of our school building. Please wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer provided; you may receive communion reverently in the hand, consume the host, and then depart.
